The Office of the Controller and Auditor General Zanzibar is one of the government institutions works under the Ministry of State President Office, State House and Good Governance. It has been established under Article 112 of the Zanzibar Constitution of 1984, Act No. 11 of 2003. It’s organization and staffing is determined by the Audit Service Board, Sec. 9 of OCAG Act of 2003. Currently, the Office has about one hundred and sixty one staff headed by the Controller and Auditor General (CAG), Mrs. Fatma Mohamed Said.
